TTK Code 1012-07/48.TTK Typical flow chart for one of the options for cable laying work / TTK

general information

As mentioned above, the TTK traumatic pistol is loaded with 10x32 cartridges, which have become a real breakthrough in the weapons industry.
Their length is as close as possible to combat charges, which increases the power of cartridges within the limits permitted by law. The 2011 bans severely limited the activities of many manufacturers of both weapons and ammunition. AKBS spent a long time deciding which charges to choose. The main contender was 9 mm RA cartridges, but then the company decided that they could produce ammunition for their gun themselves. This is how 10x32 cartridges were born.

It is the consumer who will not be able to buy charges for the TTK from any other manufacturer. However, this is not a problem because such cartridges are common in all gun stores. They are of good quality and reasonable prices.

Avid users of this weapon highlight the following advantages:

Small thickness; No protruding parts on the body; Light weight; Easy to operate and maintain; Low price - 35 thousand rubles.

SAFETY

7.1. Work must be carried out with mandatory compliance with safety regulations, fire safety, labor protection in accordance with the requirements of SNiP 12-03-2001, SNiP 12-04-2002, SP 12-133-2000, SP 12-135-2003, MDS 12 -11.2002 and regulations of other organizations, the requirements of which do not contradict the above-mentioned regulations in construction.

7.2. Responsibility for the implementation of safety measures, labor protection, industrial sanitation, fire and environmental safety rests with the work managers assigned by order.

7.3. Labor protection of workers must be ensured by the administration issuing the necessary personal protective equipment (special clothing, shoes, etc.), taking measures for the collective protection of workers (fencing, lighting, ventilation, protective and safety devices and devices, etc.), sanitary facilities premises and devices in accordance with current standards and the nature of the work performed. Workers must be provided with the necessary working conditions, food and rest.

7.4. Safety decisions must be taken into account and reflected in the organizational and technological diagrams for the production of work.

7.5. The timing of work, its sequence, and the need for labor resources are established taking into account the safe conduct of work and the time for compliance with measures that ensure the safe execution of work, so that any of the operations performed does not constitute a source of industrial hazard for simultaneously performed or subsequent work.

7.6. When developing methods and sequence of work, hazardous areas that arise during the work should be taken into account. If it is necessary to perform work in hazardous areas, measures must be taken to protect workers.

7.7. At the boundaries of hazardous areas, safety protective and signal fences and warning signs must be installed, clearly visible at any time of the day.

7.8. Sanitary facilities, automobile and pedestrian roads must be located outside hazardous areas. If there are highways in the area where a crane is moving cargo, it is necessary, in addition to protective and signal barriers, to provide for the installation of road signs indicating entry into the danger zone.

7.9. The placement of construction vehicles must be determined in such a way as to provide sufficient space for viewing the work area and maneuvering, subject to maintaining the safety distance of equipment and stacks of loads.

7.10. The construction site must have a schedule for the movement of the main construction vehicles around the site.

7.11. The lighting of the construction site and work areas must ensure safe work. Lighting should be provided for work, security and emergency lighting.

7.12. In the area where planning works are carried out, the vegetation layer must first be removed and folded in specially designated areas with subsequent use for land reclamation. In addition, measures must be taken to preserve the growing trees and shrubs existing on the territory of objects under construction and reconstruction.

Gun device

The TTK OP took over from the TT pistol all the qualities that a traumatic weapon needs for concealed carry, becoming slightly shorter than its combat counterpart. It is distinguished by its small thickness, as mentioned above, and does not have protruding parts on the body that can catch clothing when removing the gun. All this has a good effect on comfort when worn regularly.

In addition to positive qualities, TTK has adopted from TT some disadvantages that we have to put up with. First of all, it is worth mentioning the handle of the gun, which is extremely inconvenient in practical use.

The shutter stop lever is also inconvenient here. It protrudes too little above the surface of the gun frame, which makes its use difficult. The trigger will also take some getting used to because it is not very smooth.

The manufacturer managed to achieve high quality and a large supply of working life through the use of weapons-grade steel in the design. Engineers had to develop the frame, bolt, barrel and recoil spring guides from scratch in order for the weapon to pass trauma certification. The remaining parts were taken from the combat TT.

The automatic operation of the pistol is made according to the classical scheme - recoil with a blowback. In general, the pistol turned out to be very flat, which affects the ease of use. It does not have a fuse, so there are no additional flags on the body. The barrel can be removed, which is very rare for a traumatic weapon. The bore is smooth and has one pin. Developed on the basis of the barrel of the popular Grand Power T12 traumatic pistol.

The drummer is of the inertial type and is spring-loaded. The trigger is moved to the extreme forward position, even if there is already a cartridge in the chamber, but in this case the firing pin will not put pressure on the cartridge primer. The bolt stop is located on the left side of the frame; the pistol does not have a bolt clutch. Smooth operation of the entire automatic system is achieved by changing the shape of the recess for the disconnector in the bolt.

The sighting mechanism will not allow rapid shooting at a close distance from the target. It includes a non-adjustable rear sight with a thin front sight. To quickly remove the magazine, there is a special latch, which is located on the base of the trigger guard.

The main technical characteristics of the OP gun are as follows:

For shooting, 10x32 cartridges are used; Pistol barrel length - 101 mm; The total length of the pistol is 180 mm; Pistol height - 130 mm; Gun width - 28 mm; The weight of the unloaded pistol is 840 g; Magazine capacity - 8 rounds.

Conclusion

The TTK F OP pistol and its other variants are excellent weapons. It has excellent technical characteristics, thoughtful design and high reliability, which are the main indicators of a quality device.

Due to the design of the frame, you will have to get used to it. The main disadvantage is the straight angle of the handle, which reduces the comfort of grip of the weapon. The problem can be solved very simply - just carry out a few training shootings at the firing range, then the hand will get used to the handle and there will be no problems with this in the future.

The pistol can be safely used as the main weapon for regular self-defense. Its dimensions make it easy to carry it covertly. Handling an injury will be as convenient as possible when using a special holster. The high working life reserve will allow this pistol to be used not only for self-defense, but also for sports and recreational shooting. You just need to remember to regularly clean the bore, and also check the serviceability of all parts that bear the main load during shooting.
