Nissan Teana (2008, Sedan)

Automatic transmission 3498 cm³ Left 48000 km 56000 km 2011 - 2012 Russia Moscow

Boris Perushkin 12/02/2012:

“Good day or night everyone!
I will compare it with the previous Teana (left-hand drive, 06, 2.3 l., luxury). Background. I bought Tanya at the beginning of January '12, black, in the most complete configuration, in general a fairy tale! I've wanted her for a long time. I received a well-maintained car, and I did my best to keep it that way. The machine was used every day, but in fact no more than 25 km. in a day. I live in the center of Moscow, I work there, and my second job is on Yugo-Zapadnaya. It turned out that I didn’t actually get stuck in traffic jams, since I went towards Yugo-Zapadnaya at lunchtime, and returned to the center at about 17:00, when the roads were busy towards the region. But there are still a lot of traffic lights and pedestrian crossings along the route. And so my gasoline consumption was 95 (if you accelerate smoothly and brake smoothly, and do not exceed engine speed above 2000) - 14.7-15.4 liters. per 100 km. (on the first Tean in the summer the consumption was 16.4) If you don’t limit yourself in emotions (from time to time you let yourself go), then 16.4 liters. On the highway 120 km/h. - 9 l. Over 120 is correspondingly more. By the way, the 3.5 l. Teans at engine speeds of 2000 - a speed of 100 km/h, more than enough. Teana does not lend itself to a sharp and nimble ride; it is comfortable to ride it imposingly, slowly, with feeling, sensibly, with alignment. It's an excellent engine, there's more than enough power under the hood, and it's very confident when overtaking. The engine picks up both from 2000 and 3500 rpm, is very lively and works perfectly in combination with the gearbox. Maintenance: oil change every 15 thousand km. according to your passport, but it’s better to do it more often. I changed the spark plugs myself, quite simply and conveniently, more conveniently than on the first Tean, there is no extra hassle with fastening the intake manifold. Comfort: sound insulation is good, the suspension is soft (rear passengers can even get motion sick), the only negative is the expensive front shock absorbers - 7 thousand rubles each. each (without springs). Maintenance consumables for any pocket can be cheaper or more expensive. Her brakes are rather weak (my opinion), from 140 she does not brake confidently, she only slows down. On the first one there was an illness - the right engine mount was torn and rattling, but on the second one it didn’t seem to be sick. There are, of course, paradoxes. On the first tank, two gas shock absorbers were installed on the hood, and on the second there is a stick - you lift it and stop it with it. Then externally: it looks like there are two exhaust pipes, but on the second one they hid it under the bumper for some reason. The bumper overhangs on the second tank are higher than those of the first. The variator works perfectly, after changing the automatic transmission, the difference is only for the better. No jerks, no kicks, the only thing is if you brake urgently, then it takes about 3 seconds to accelerate and that’s it. Changing the oil in the variable speed valve - the first time after 60 t.km. then after 90. Navigation: works in Russian, but does not show buildings, possessions (i.e. the house number shows, for example, 12, and if 12 is page 1, then page 1 you have to look for yourself). In the native navigation disk it shows only Moscow and St. Petersburg, it is treated by installing an updated disk with maps, version 5 is already running, I have the first one, but it’s enough for me. Heated and ventilated seats: a very necessary thing in a leather interior, it really helps. It's a pity that the steering wheel is not heated. An electric curtain is also a necessary thing. Both in the sun and at night, that the headlights did not shine from behind. Cruise control works perfectly. You accelerate, press a button on the steering wheel and you get high, you can also control it with a button on the steering wheel. Each press can increase or decrease the speed by 5 km. Speakerphone also works without problems. You connect your phone via bluetooth to the car and that’s it, the speakerphone works - a fairy tale! Transport tax: in Moscow, both under the old law and under the new one, which will go into effect on January 1, up to 250 mares at 75 rubles per horse, approximately 18 tons per year. To summarize, I would like to say that the car is really worth the money. The price-quality ratio is maintained in the best proportions. This car can be awarded economy business class status. I believe that for this money there are no cars of this class in a similar configuration. I only consider used cars, because I feel sorry for the money (or rather, there is simply no money, but I want a better car) that is lost after 2-3 years of the car. Please forgive me if you only spent time on this review without gaining anything for yourself. I won’t re-read what I wrote myself, maybe it turned out to be a mess (maybe because I’m writing a review at 3.30 in the morning), I had a lot of thoughts, but it wasn’t very easy to put them on paper. If you have any questions about the theme, ask T. ////, with respect, Boris. also: one of the minuses is, of course, the quality of the finishing of the chairs, leather is only on the seat and back, and on the sides there is leatherette, which is wiped with terrible force. and the skin itself is greatly stretched and goes in waves. In addition, plastic that resembles wood and aluminum is also quite delicate; cobwebs quickly form on it. The ceiling upholstery is quite good and of high quality compared to the previous one. The rims on the second Tean are 17-inch Stock, although they don’t have the lowest profile tires, but even in urban conditions they can be made square, I didn’t expect it myself, but in fact, when I changed my shoes for the winter I had to roll the front ones. The front shock absorbers are rather weak for a 3.5 liter. (they are the same for 2.5 and 3.5). And not unimportantly, the paintwork is very crappy. The hood begins to bloom (I didn’t notice the rest of the body). Pros: + Quite liquid on the secondary market. You just need to sell before the end of November or after January. no" expandcollapse

The car was purchased at the end of June, 3.5 liters 249 hp, top-end equipment. 1233 thousand rubles.

Due to some temporary difficulties, I was forced to “downgrade” the class of the car, so there will be no snot about “what a super car.” I chose according to the principle of what I had money for without a loan. I went to a dealership near my house, it seemed like nothing, took it for a test drive, paid a deposit, and picked it up 4 days later.

Well what can I say... Nissan, of course, has caught up, but it is still far from premium. This can be seen in the little things and more.

I'll start with the positives: — The combination of the engine and the variator is just super, honestly. It shoots very well, 7 seconds. up to a hundred. Well, this is not surprising, since the same engine powers the Z-350, Infiniti M, G and FX. Only derated to 249 hp, which is nice for taxpayers, but the torque is super. When driving fast enough + standing in traffic jams, the consumption is 14 l/100 km, which is quite a bit for such an engine. — The sound insulation was a very pleasant surprise. Not a BMW seven or a Mercedes c-class, of course, but very, very good! — The suspension is energy-intensive. It absorbs potholes well, I don’t slow down at all on the rails, I don’t feel them. For me, ride comfort is more important than precise handling, so some rolliness doesn't bother me. — The music is more than decent. 11 Bose speakers. DVD works great, 5.1 sounds normal, but I still can’t get it to show while driving, and not just with the handbrake-scissor pedal depressed. — Navigation is working, a disc of Moscow and St. Petersburg with regions is included, everything is completely Russified. — Bluetooth speakerphone works correctly. — Keyless entry and control (although I think it’s a disadvantage that the open-close buttons are only on the front doors, just like on the Infiniti). — Ventilation and heating of all seats, front and rear. — Glass roof (more precisely, two glass hatches, the front one opens, the rear one does not) — The interior decoration and design is almost completely copied from the Infinity, so for the money it’s hard to find fault.

Now the downsides, there are quite a few of them too: — The steering wheel is adjustable only in height. Because of this, in two months I still couldn’t find a comfortable fit; sometimes my right leg goes numb in the calf area. — Some “penny” options are missing, for example, a rain sensor, a sensor for the end of washer fluid, hydraulic hood stops (there is a stick-stop, like on VAZs), folding rear seats, a self-dimming rear-view mirror, closers for open windows and the hatch when closing the car. They seem like little things, but when you get used to them, you start to pay attention to them. Or rather, their absence. — There are crickets in the cabin (the rather loud one somewhere in the glove compartment area is especially infuriating), the dealers shrug their shoulders. — If there is a “glass roof”, the front hatch opens 20 centimeters, no more…. Damn, it would be better if they installed a regular big hatch, but it’s neither this nor that. — The windshield wiper blades are unsuccessful, the left big one throws dirt and water onto the right side of the glass. — The ground clearance, in principle, is okay, but it could be higher by a couple of centimeters, you can’t really climb on the curbs… — The buttons for heating and ventilation of the front seats were shoved into the armrest… Well, this was actually an idea from a sick person… — They saved on the backlighting front power window buttons, door lock buttons (I always miss in the dark) and windows. Well, this is actually a joke... Did you make 20 rubles???? — There is no shutdown of the middle front air ducts. I had to carefully measure the direction, with millimeter precision, so as not to blow into the face or the passenger...

In general, there are disadvantages in abundance. But, overall, the car is “well worth the money.” Since I don’t plan to drive it for a long time, it doesn’t bother me too much, I’m even trying to enjoy driving it.

The quality and finishing materials have been improved. Everything looks stylish and solid, especially with a light interior. In a word, the interior designers implemented the idea to play up the decor of a modern living room brilliantly.

As for ergonomics, the Japanese have done a good job of correcting the mistakes. Finding the right fit in the new Teana is easy - and this is a huge step forward compared to the previous generation. The chair has two-position memory.

It was also disappointing that on a luxury car, the electric window drive with the 1-Touch function is installed only on the driver’s door, and the steering column, as before, is adjustable only by tilt. A rain sensor and changes in sound volume along with speed are still not included in the basic equipment.

That's probably all, otherwise the car deserves only the most flattering reviews. Indeed, in terms of equipment level, the Nissan Teana model is truly premium.

Panoramic roof, rear view camera, multifunction steering wheel, navigation, radio control panel located in the rear seat (which was so missing before!), electric curtain, original design “intelligent key”, climate control for rear passengers (though not separate), two-level heated and ventilated seats (very convenient!), Bose audio system, Ottoman footrest, which has become the hallmark of the Teana model... And, of course, space and more space. They decided to abandon the driver’s seat massager “in the base” - from now on the option has moved to the list of additional equipment.

Such a car must definitely be taken in the maximum configuration, with all the options, fortunately (praise the Japanese!) A manual transmission is no longer offered at all - only a CVT! And this is correct - it is impossible to imagine how a person in such a car would frantically pull the “handle” not only in a traffic jam, but also on the highway. Yes, when buying a top-end car, you sign up for a considerable tax, considerable gluttony; the 3.5-liter unit is powered only by the 95th, unlike its brother, which can easily digest the 92nd... But you have to pay for pleasure, and this will be already almost Infinity.

The first batch of Tean for our market is assembled in Japan. But it is also known that Nissan threatened to assemble this model at a plant near St. Petersburg. It is quite possible that in the future such a “Japanese woman” will receive Russian registration. The car warranty will be 3 years or 100 thousand kilometers, maintenance - every 15 thousand km.
