Tank MS-1 (T-18) - one of the first Soviet tank-building vehicles

Serial modifications of the MS-1 tank:

MS-1 (T-18) arr. 1927 - the hull and turret were riveted and assembled on a frame. The tower is hexagonal, with a mushroom-shaped observation turret. The engine was located across the body and was made in one block with the main clutch and gearbox. There was a “tail” at the rear of the hull.

MS-1 (T-18) arr. 1930 - turret with a rectangular aft niche, 40 hp engine. p., four-speed gearbox, cast drive wheel. Combat weight 5.68 tons. Dimensions 4350x1760x2120 mm. Ammunition: 104 rounds, 2020 rounds. Speed max. – 17.5 km/h.

Since 1929, MS-1 tanks began to enter service with newly formed mechanized units. They were actively used for training purposes - 103 vehicles immediately after production were transferred to the disposal of OSOAVIAKHIM and a number of military-technical educational institutions.

The MS-1 received its baptism of fire in November 1929 during the Soviet-Chinese armed conflict on the Chinese Eastern Railway. A separate tank company, numbering 9 combat vehicles, took part in the hostilities.

Since 1938, tanks began to be handed over to the URs on the western border of the USSR for use as both mobile and fixed (with the removal of the engine and chassis) firing points. At the same time, some of the combat vehicles were rearmed with a 45-mm tank gun mod. 1932

These tanks took part in the border battles of the summer of 1941, and in some cases, not without success. The latest facts about the combat use of the MS-1 relate to the Battle of Moscow. In particular, the 150th Tank Brigade in the winter of 1941/42 had 9 tanks of this type.

First of all, we learn the “Repair” , and the “Sixth Sense” . “Repair” skill speeds up the repair of damaged modules, and the “Sixth Sense” will allow you to determine whether your tank has been detected by the enemy. All crew members should study “Combat Brotherhood” , which should be studied by all crew members at the same time to improve the level of proficiency in the specialty. “Eagle Eye” skill , which increases the viewing range. For the driver mechanic, we learn the “Smooth Move” , which reduces the dispersion of the gun in motion; and the “Off-Road King” , which reduces resistance on soft and medium soils when driving.

Mini tractor maintenance

The Centaur T18 minitractor is easy to maintain. It is enough to change the engine oil on time (after 80 hours of operation on the M-10G2), fill in high-quality fuel (diesel must be clean and free of impurities), and check the condition of the fuel and air filters.

If it is necessary to preserve the Centaur T18 mini tractor for a couple of months, it is recommended to disconnect the spark plugs and drain the oil and gasoline (during this time they will take on water and become unusable). After this, clean the tractor, lubricate all parts with oil to prevent corrosion, cover and store in a dry place.

Of course, the T-34 continued to improve. So in 1944, the T-34-85 modification appeared in service with the Red Army. The new tank received an 85 mm cannon, was superior to its predecessor in terms of armor protection, and as a result, was better able to withstand the German Tigers and Panthers.

But Mikhail Koshkin did not see the triumph of his brainchild. After that famous run, upon arrival in Kharkov, he ended up in the hospital. Doctors diagnosed him with a serious form of pneumonia. On September 26, 1940, Mikhail Ilyich Koshkin passed away. He was only 41 years old.

Posthumously, in 1942, he was awarded the Stalin Prize. Half a century later, in 1990, he became a Hero of Socialist Labor. But, perhaps, the real reward for Koshkin was the role that the T-34 played in the Great Patriotic War. Who knows what the fate of our country would have been like if exactly 90 years ago, the head of the confectionery factory, Mikhail Koshkin, had not decided to choose a completely different path in life.

At the upcoming celebration of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the legendary “thirty-four” will proudly lead the parade columns. Uralvagonzavod enterprises have already completed work on restoring and preparing 13 historical tanks for the parade.

Minitractors Centaur T 18 are representatives of classic diesel machines.

Due to their small dimensions, they are capable of not only carrying out work on land plots in the open air, but also in closed spaces (barns, garages, greenhouses, etc.).

Before leaving, be sure to check the availability of fuel and oil. When the fuel tank is maximally filled, the Centaur T 18 minitractor can be operated for more than 8 hours continuously.

The Centaur T 18 E model has improved drive belts. It also has a floating hydraulic drive mode for attachments. In this position, the hitch follows the terrain, and the working depth is the same everywhere;
When creating model D, customer wishes and international standards were taken into account. Centaur T 18 D has an improved frame and the ability to change the wheel-to-wheel distance;
The T 18 V provides the possibility of using not only rear, but also front attachments.
Centaur T 18 C is the highest quality and modified model. When creating it, we took into account the disadvantages of previous mini tractors and corrected them, created an organic design, increased the service life of the belt and chain drive, and also modernized the tension rollers.

Basic equipment

In the basic configuration, the Centaur comes from the factory already assembled. The product comes with instructions and a 12 month warranty. Additionally, a plow and an active milling cutter for cultivating the soil may be supplied.

Plot

This film tells how the residents of the Georgian province got acquainted with a new game for them - football.

The film takes place in Poti. Valid until 1917.

Initially, the game came in a rather wild form - everyone was running around the field in a large crowd without any sportswear or shoes, no matter who was wearing anything. A team of single men played against a team of married men. The game took place on an unequipped field (except for the poles replacing the goal). In addition, the temperamental spectators kept playing along with their team, and there was no referee on the field at all.

Jason (David Abashidze), the ideological leader and top scorer, tells his team after a loss that in Europe they don’t play like that at all, there teams have names (he mentioned the clubs Bayern and Arsenal). Together they decide to create their own team. First of all, they acquired their simplest form. We played a match between the teams of Poti and Senaki, and of course they won. Inspired by the victory, they head to the port and challenge the crew of the Turkish sloop, but the Turks set a condition: to play for money, 10 rubles, and this is a lot of money, and the players have nowhere to take it. But... so they make a decision and load the ship in the port, carrying manganese. They put the money they earn on the line. The game is won. The Turks hastily set sail. Only later, after the euphoria of victory and swimming in the Black Sea, the team realized that the Turks were betting on counterfeit banknotes.

The team did not lose heart and challenged the English sailors to battle. They won... But the team still did not lose heart, they believed that everything was still ahead.
