Description of the Hatsan BT 65 RB Elite air rifle:

The Hatsan BT 65 RB Elite air is a popular model of powerful pneumatics from the famous Turkish brand. Hatsan produces air guns, hunting and military weapons that are in demand both domestically and abroad. In Russia, the products of this manufacturer are popular due to the excellent quality and competitive pricing policy of the brand.

The Hatsan BT 65 RB Elite is a pre-inflated pneumatic (PCP) . The container with compressed air is located below the barrel; cocking the firing pin and sending the bullet into the barrel is done by turning the side rear lever. The energy source in this rifle is a high-pressure cylinder, which gives the bullet an initial speed of 380 m/s.

The magazine capacity of the Hatsan BT 65 RB Elite is 10 4.5 mm lead bullets. Protection is provided against loading a second bullet if the first is still in the barrel. For quick reloading, two spare magazines are attached to the lower part of the forend. The presence of outer rubber rings reduces the shooter's effort required to feed a bullet into the barrel, and also prevents ammunition from falling out.

The capacity of the compressed air cylinder is 255 cubic meters. see, the default firing mode for this weapon allows you to fire up to 80 shots. The rifle barrel, 580 mm long, is made of good weapon steel.

The body of this model is made of high-quality plastic, the pistol-type handle has a comfortable cutout for the thumb, which allows you to shoot with both hands. Through the use of adjustable cheeks and butt plate, each user will be able to adjust the rifle to their anatomical features, thereby increasing the accuracy and comfort of shooting.

The sights of the Hatsan BT 65 RB Elite rifle are adjustable front and rear sights. When shooting, it is possible to use an additional sight (optical or collimator), as well as a flashlight or laser pointer - a combo rail is installed in the upper part of the rifle. Optima 3-12×44 AOE optical sight .

The Hatsan BT 65 RB Elite air rifle has an elegant appearance, looks impressive and expensive. The body of the weapon is made of impact-resistant polymer, easy to maintain and durable in use. For such a powerful rifle, its weight and dimensions are small - 4230 g and 1080 mm, respectively.

The high power of this weapon makes it possible to use it widely, but it is important to strictly follow safety precautions. The model is perfect for hunting game birds, as well as for amateur shooting.

Greetings to everyone who is interested in this topic.
Exactly a year ago I bought my first PCP rifle. It turned out to be a Hatsan BT 65-SB, in 4.5 mm caliber. The path to studying the capabilities of the screw has been a long one. A gearbox was installed (from Gennady, 30 cc), then the gearbox was removed and reconfigured to forward flow...

In the 4.5 mm caliber on the original plug, with a maximum energy of 70 J, a plateau of 10 shots was obtained, with a full-bodied bullet, weighing 1.26 g, at a speed of 335 m/s. (maximum speed, 1.26 g bullet - 350 m/s)

After making sure that the screw was reliable, I bought a second one, exactly the same. The reason for purchasing the second screw was one related misunderstanding on my part. On the first rifle, in search of lower consumption, I sawed off the choke, which I later regretted a little. Solid bullets stopped flying from him. An LV barrel was ordered for this rifle, in caliber 6.35, without choke, twist 450 mm, barrel length - 605 mm. And this is what came out of this screw:

Valanium bullets: 330 m/s (152 J), 2.8 g bullet (Sam Young, BC = 0.05) - 12 times. — maximum power. 300 m/s (126 J), 2.8 g bullet (Sam Young, BC=0.05) - 26 times.

Solid bullets 290 m/s (112 J), bullet, 2.65 g (Luger, BC=0.13) - 25 times, pressure 240-130 atm (bullets from Schmeisser) https://forum.guns.ru/forummessage/25/ 938938.html

The rifle settings at 126 J with Sam Young and 112 J with Luger are the SAME.

At first glance, the efficiency of the shuttlecock is higher. But, at a distance of 25 - 30 meters, the picture changes dramatically. The very high BC of a full-bodied bullet allows it to perfectly maintain speed and energy over very decent distances by pneuma standards. The gain in power and efficiency goes towards full-bodied ones, and with a good advantage. Therefore, due to lower air consumption and a larger number of shots, I left the rifle settings at lower power. I think this should be enough for many tasks.

Well, some sizes:

Valve seat - 7 mm (38.47 sq. mm.) Valve stem - 3.9 mm (11.94 sq. mm.) Plug bore - 26.53 sq. mm. Bypass - 6 mm (28.26 sq.mm) Drummer - 95, original Striker stroke - 22 mm (an important parameter for overclocking). The striker spring is not original, but more powerful. — outer diameter — 12 mm — rod thickness — 1.4 mm — spring length — 100 mm (110-120 mm is possible, it will fit, guaranteed! And the adjustment stroke will be complete, the power will be higher). — number of turns — 17 (evenly spaced between turns) — I won’t say in kg, I didn’t measure it. — I ordered it here https://prproekt-kazan.ru/kontakty.html The spring on the valve is stock

Conclusion: The potential of the screw is very huge. I think that with a 6.35 LV barrel, the Hatsan BT65 may be a good alternative to the Jaeger 6.35 (in my opinion, the best hunting rifle in terms of PRICE/QUALITY/POWER), which costs almost 2 times more than the Hatsan. As practice shows, Hatsan's performance characteristics are no worse, as far as accuracy is concerned - the pipes are the same, everything else depends on the shooter. In weight, of course, Hatsan loses to Jaeger, and Jaeger, in turn, loses at a price. All this is IMHO.

I'm actually a big fan of Jaeger. In my opinion, in two words - the best choice for hunting! But its price is still too high for me. For the cost of the 1st rifle, I have the 2nd, and one of them is 6.35 with similar performance characteristics. I won’t even try to convince anyone that it’s better to buy Hatsan. Everyone chooses according to money. If I had the means to buy a Jaeger instead of the second Hatsan, I would definitely buy a Jaeger!

Who, what do you think about this? Let's share our experience. We post our results: the obtained performance characteristics, passing, plateau, bullets that successfully passed the tests.

Since his old chrono died the death of the brave (during tests when shooting through the chrono at a distance of 100 m for an ACCURATE calculation of the bullet's BC), a new one was ordered and safely received. Frame chronograph, sale, Syktyvkar, sent by Russian Post - https://forum.guns.ru/forummessage/25/1412413.html EXCELLENT chronographs for little money! CHECKED! I recommend it to everyone.

ATTENTION!

Pump the standard tank over 200 atm. not permissible (neither with a standard plug nor with a new one)! The standard tank pipe is not designed for this according to safety standards! This is the opinion of authoritative masters. I myself pump up to 240 atm at my own peril and risk, which I consider quite acceptable and completely justified, since with my settings the plateau begins precisely at 240 atm, and the thickness of the tank wall of 4 mm allows 20% of the tolerance to be neglected. I’m not convincing anyone that they should do the same, everyone has their own head on their shoulders!

After soldering the standard plug, the plug becomes ISN'T REMOVABLE! Accordingly, there is no possibility to unscrew the tank (as in the standard circuit)! When you try to unscrew the tank, the rear plug is unscrewed from the tank pipe. IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED to try to unscrew it UNDER PRESSURE!

Description of the air rifle Hatsan VT 65 RV

A powerful and silent premium air rifle from the Hatsan brand, which has excellent accuracy characteristics thanks to a long 580 mm rifled barrel and a high muzzle velocity reaching 380 m/s .
The model has undergone some changes in terms of the shutter; it has moved from the right side to the rear side in comparison with the BT 65 SB.

The automatic safety in the Hatsan BT 65 RB pneumatic is located on the left side of the receiver, it prevents accidental shots and automatically enters the safe mode after each charge.

The rifle's operating pressure reaches 250 atm , as evidenced by the pressure gauge on the front of the high-pressure receiver.

Accordingly, all the parts and mechanisms of this Hatsan BT 65 RB rifle must quietly withstand such pressure and work under it, this is realized through the widespread use of metal with a decent thickness, namely, the barrel, receiver, receiver, working parts and mechanisms are made of steel. To increase service life, all metal parts are blued.

The stock in the rifle is made of plastic with rubber inserts, allowing you to more comfortably hold the Khatsan 65 RB PSP rifle in your hands. The buttstock has an adjustable cheek pad and a ventilated rubber butt pad. The cheek pad facilitates the aiming process, because It better fixes the rifle relative to the shooter’s head, and the butt plate reduces recoil.

The model shoots with 4.5 mm caliber bullets; they are loaded into a 10-round drum and allow you to shoot, albeit in single mode, but the reloading rate is much higher than that of classic fractures.

To obtain the maximum speed of a bullet flying into a rifle, it is necessary to tighten the firing pin screw to the deepest position; it is with such modifications that the rifle is capable of showing a speed of 380 m/s. After strengthening the rifle, a full charge of the receiver is enough for 75-80 shots.

For aiming, the Hatsan BT 65 RB is equipped with an open sight with fiber-optic strips, consisting of an adjustable front sight and an aiming bar. The front sight is adjustable vertically, and the sighting bar, in turn, is adjustable in 2 planes.

When using an open sight, the shooter can comfortably shoot at a distance of up to 50-60 m, however, on the top of the receiver there is a Weaver rail on which an optical sight can be attached. The Popadiv10.ru store recommends the use of an optical sight from Leapers, because They are not expensive, but very reliable. When using an optical sight, the Hatsan BT 65 RB rifle can safely shoot at a distance of 120 m .

The model is positioned as a rifle for hunting, it shoots very quietly and accurately, it can, of course, be used for recreational shooting, but only for adult shooters, because its weight is 4.1 kg.
